Gaming Disappointments

I've pretty much abandoned this poor blog. I bet it feels lonely cause I haven't paid it any mind. I guess I just ran out of things to say. Hmm.. I guess I can complain about my PS3 games.

Well, I finished DMC4 and Heavenly Sword weeks ago. Those games are too short!! They have awesome graphics and good stories but it all ends too soon. Heavenly Sword has a really great story and characters that keep you wanting to play.

Not only do you get to play as the main heroine, Nariko; but you also get to play as her friend, Kai and use arrows to snipe enemies. PS3's siaxas controls suck, so I just turned that function off and used the joystick. As Nariko it's beyond fun ripping through tons of enemies like they were nothing and blowing up cannons with rockets. But I was expecting to have at least 2 more stages to do when the game suddenly ended. And ***spoiler alert*** the ending isn't very happy either.

I hope they make a sequel though and make it longer cause the game play is just so addicting. Maybe I'll play it over on "Hell Mode" next.

Hmm..

Well, I've been too busy to post much in here lately. Classes are going well, even if some are a pain. My biggest concern right now is that web design class is... boring. Everything we're learning so far are things I've learned years ago. It's good that I can help everyone else when they're struggling with code, but I find myself daydreaming or counting the minutes until class is over. This isn't a complaint against the teacher, but the subject. I know it already! The html coding that I don't know most likely won't be taught since this is just a intro class and since I'm going Hardware and not Software, then I won't be learning any new coding that I don't already know. Well.. maybe I will. I can only hope.

Anyhow... Student loan refunds are awesome. I paid some bills for mom, bought my sis a iPod and splurged on a Ps3 for me. I almost want to run around and show it to everyone, but then I might get mugged. I didn't go crazy with the games though, I just got two; Devil May Cry 4 and Heavenly Sword. Target had some nice rebates so I saved about $20 off the games and $20 off the iPod which paid for my Ps3 one year damage insurance.
I still have some green left over and I want to put it somewhere where I can gain interest for saving it. After all, I have to pay all of this back eventually. Life would be easier if free money really did exist ;)
