Though she's upset, D.G. knows she has to stop Azkadellia and make things right again. She searches her memories and finds a heart-shaped stone that she and her sister hid when they were kids. She skipped the rock across the lake and it magically repaired the area, bringing back the trees, plant, and animal life. A hologram starts up and it's ok D.G.'s mother. She tells D.G. to head south and find Ahamo, D.G.'s real father. After they leave, Azkadellia finds the hologram too.
The group travels to the Realm Of The Unwanted, where they believe Ahamo is. They stop at a furtune telling machine which really isn't a machine, but a live person. She tells them that the Seeker is who they are looking for; that only he can find Ahamo. She sets up a meeting with them and the Seeker, but she double crosses them and rats them out to the Longcoats for the reward that's on their heads. Everyone is attacked and captured except for D.G. who is taken by the Seeker and Toto who tuns off in dog form.
While being taken away by the Longcats, Cain, Glitch and Raw are rescued by a resistance group. The leader of the resistance group turns out to be Jeb, Cain's son. They fight the Longcoats then take Zero hostage to get answers. Jeb scares Zero into telling them what the Anti-Sun Seeder does; Azkadellia is going to permanently block out the O.Z.'s suns during the double eclipse and ultimately destroy the land.
Meanwhile, D.G. finds out that the Seeker is really Ahamo, her father. She's angry at him for abandoning her mother. But he tells her that her mother wanted him to hide and wait for D.G. to return so her can help her. He gives her a compass which directs her to where the Gray Gale is. Ahamo sets up a hot air balloon and takes D.G. in the direction the compass points. Azkadellia follows them.
They arrive at a place where the entire line of the royal family are buried. It's like a family burial chamber. The compass takes them to the mausoleum of Dorothy Gale, who turns out to be D.G.'s great, great, grandmother who was the first slipper to travel to the O.Z. from the other side. D.G. is named after her. Inside the mausoleum, D.G. steps into a black and white world stuck in time where she meets the young version of Dorothy, who gives her the Emerald. But before she can leave, Azkadellia shows up and takes the Emerald while trapping D.G. inside a green marble sarcophagus.
Raw uses his powers to find D.G. and the group runs out to save her. She saves herself though, using her magic powers that she finally remembers how to use. She meets up with them outside the Gray Gale and they race back to Azkadellia's castle to stop her. D.G. runs to confront Azkadellia while the others try to stop the machine. Azkadellia bring Ahamo to her mother and shows her that she has the Emerald now. She is delighted by the saddened look on her mother's face as all hope is lost. She then goes to the roof where she uses the power to lock the suns behind the moons.
Raw, Glitch and Cain attack the guards and make it to the machine, where they see Glitch's other half of brain connected to the machine and operating it. Raw uses his powers to connect Glitch to his other half of brain. Glitch remembers the code to turn the machine off and tell it to Cain who begins to shut it down. But they are stopped by one of the evil scientists.
D.G. confronts Azkadellia who throws her off the side of the roof. She catches herself and tries to appeal to the real Azkadellia. She reminds her of how close they were as kids and how they loved each other. Azkdaellia fights back against the evil witch who possesses her. She claps hands with D.G. and breaks free. The two sister's magic keeps them safe as the witch tries to attack them. But Glitch, Cain and Raw break free and, since they don't have time to connect Glitch with the other half of his brain, Cain tells him to just remember and Glitch remembers on his own the last code and they reverse the power of machine.
The wicked witch is melted by the reverse power of the machine and everyone meets up. The two sisters are finally reunited with their parents and everyone watches as the eclipse passes like it's supposed to and the sun comes out.

Eeep!
Okay, so now it's time for Finals. I feel under pressure and stressed out already. I know that I know this stuff, but my brain likes to freeze on me. I stressed out over mid-terms and now it's double time for finals. I'm just so bad with tests.
Oh well... I'll just try to study a little and keep calm. Hopefully things will turn out alright in the end.

Tin Man (part 2)
Glitch awakens and looks for his friends. He finds Cain, still alive, but unconscious and frozen from falling into the lake after being thrown through the window by Zero. He helps Cain and takes him inside, lighting a fire to keep him warm. When Cain comes to, Glitch explains that he can't find the others and shows Cain that his life was saved due to the toy horse that used to belong to Cain's son that carried in his breast pocket. The toy had stopped the bullet.
Azkadellia tries to use Lylo to read D.G.'s memories. It's very painful for him, but Azkadellia and her minions force him to try and see. D.G. begs them to stop, but they don't listen. She says "How can he remember if I don't!?" But Lylo discovers that D.G.'s memories are cloaked in magic, and manages to only pull out one name; The Gray Gale. Azkadellia asks D.G. what the Gray Gale is, but she still can't remember. Lylo passes out from being tortured so long. D.G. is put back into her cell and Azkadellia goes to confront their mother.
The Queen is kept inside a globe-like case where she is isolated on a small strip of land; she can't go anywhere or leave the prison. Azkadellia tries to get her mother to tell her what the Gray Gale is, but she won't tell.
D.G. is put in a cell next to the Mystical Man, who was also captured by the Longcoats. She tries to ask him about the Gray Gale but he doesn't want to answer because he knows Azkadellia is listening in. He knows she put them next to each other on purpose. He tries to give her some cryptic clues, but Azkadellia comes and kills him. Once they leave, D.G. throws food on a switch which makes a mouse run across it and open the cell door near hers. A dog runs out and then turns another switch that lets D.G. out. The dog barks so she follows him and they soon arrive at the area where Raw is held. After freeing him, the dog leads them down the hall where they encounter some Longcoats. Raw hits one over the head with a wrench and it turns out to be Glitch. Cain and Glitch have come to rescue them.
The dog leads them all out of the castle through a room with a huge machine in it. The guards chase them, but they get away. Once they are safe, the dog suddenly transforms into a human man. The group is surprised, but he asks D.G. to dig into her memories. She remembers a time when she was a little girl at a place by the a lake with her mother and her sister. She remembers the man teaching her how to do magic. She has mistaken his name, Tutor, and called him Toto. Cain doesn't trust him, but he reassures everyone he's on their side.
D.G. had learned from the Mystic Man that Azkadellia was going to try to destroy the O.Z. using the machine they ran through. She tells everyone this and they try to figure out how to stop her. As they start walking, Toto drops a shiny little disc on the ground. A mobat comes along soon after and takes the disc back to Azkadellia. It shows her where they are when she puts it into a player. Her plan is to let D.G. lead her right to where the Gray Gale is and where the Emerald is.
The group finds the help of resistant fighters who fight against Azkadellia's evil reign. They give them shelter while they wait until night fall to try and get past the Longcoats that are guarding the chasm they want to cross. They learn that the machine Azkadellia is using is called a Anti-Sun Seeder. Glitch knows what it is and thinks he invited it, but he can't remember. They have Raw read his memories and touch a mirror which shows everyone the memories. They see the past and Azkadellia takes over because the Queen gave up her powers to bring D.G. back to life. And since Glitch (who's real name is Ambrose) wouldn't betray the Queen and give up the plans for the Sun Seeder, she has her minions remove half of his brain. Everyone is upset at the vision, but Glitch doesn't remember any of it. D.G. is especially sad because she says it's her fault that Azkadellia took over. Cain tells her not to blame herself. On their way out, Cain sees a toy horse that looks just like his son's. He asks the people where they got it from and they say a traveller and her son gave it to them on their way through. Cain's family is still alive.
They sneak past the Longcoats and they travel for a while and find a little house. No one is inside, but there is a grave beside the house and it has Cain's wife's name on it. He is broken hearted as he loses his wife all over again. Next to the house is a tin suit that looks just like the one he was trapped in. He rushes to open it, afraid that his son is in it, but it's empty. As they travel more, Toto is caught as a mobat comes to pick up the disc before the group is out of sight. Cain shoots and kills it and Glitch finds the disc. Toto explains that he cares for D.G more than anyone else in the world, but Azkadellia made him a deal; he would let her track them for his freedom. He was hoping that D.G could find the Emerald and stop Azkadellia before she caught up with them. They make him stay in dog form so as not to leave anymore discs and agree to let him keep travelling with them.
D.G. remembers what way to go, and they come to the place of her childhood. Everything comes back to her and she remembers everything; When they were kids, Azkadellia and D.G. were great friends. They learned magic together from Tutor and played together in the woods. By holding hands, they created a protective barrier that saved them from being attacked by a bear. One day, D.G. suggests they go adventuring. "Your adventures always seem to get me into trouble" Azkadellia protests, but D.G insists so they wander off into the woods again. They come by a cave, the same cave from D.G.'s nightmares. Inside, they discover and accidentally set free a evil witch. They hold hands to protect themselves, but D.G. gets scared and lets go. The witch then takes over Azkdadellia's body and the mobats inside the cave fly into her as well.
The young child D.G runs back to to her mother, crying and distraught. Her mother asks her what's wrong and she cries saying that she "let go" and something happened to Azkadellia. But Azkadellia comes walking back to the gazebo. Her mothers points out to D.G. that her sister is right there then asks Azkadellia if she's okay. Azkadellia gives a cold look and says she's "never felt better."
Back in the present time, D.G. is horrified. She says it's all her fault that her sister is evil now and she's possessed by the evil witch.

Tin Man (part 1)
(left to right: Cain, D.G., Glitch, Raw and Azkadellia)Tin Man is a new story of the Wizard of Oz, or a reinmagining. It's a three part mini series, so I will be writing about each one in different entries.
The story starts out about girl named D.G. who lives on a farm with her parents. She works at as a waitress and hates how mediocre her life is. She's always felt she doesn't belong and that there's more out there in the world than just the farm. She's also been having repeat nightmares that are confusing an scary. Her latest dream is the same as the others, except this time she sees a beautiful woman with lavender eyes that tells her "A storm is coming." She tells her parents about these dreams and they don't seem concerned too much. But, behind her back, they discuss about how she's now having "the dreams."
D.G. has been also drawing various pictures of far off places and people. Her father says the pictures remind him of his old childhood home; a place called Milltown. Later that night, the evil sorceress from a place called The O.Z. finds out that there's a light of hope in the Other Side and she's worried that it will interfere with her plans to obtain the Emerald, a all powerful artifact that she's looking for. By abusing a psychic creature named Lylo, she finds out that the light is coming from D.G.'s house. She sends her troops (called Longcoats) through a travel storm; a tornado, to kill the light. The Longcoats arrive and a attack D.G.'s family. They escape onto the roof of the farmhouse and D.G.'s parents try to explain that it's time for her to go back. She doesn't understand, but there's no time to explain. They push her off the roof and into the travel storm.
When she wakes up, D.G. notices she's in a weird place. There are two suns in the sky and she can't find her parents. She's soon captured by a group of tiny people who put her in a cage. They think she is Azkadellia's (the evil sorceress) spy. This is the first time D.G. hears the name Azkadellia and she tells them she has no idea what they are talking about. They plan to torture her to get her to talk. After they leave, she notices another prisoner in the cage. After she helps him down from being tied to the roof of the cage, she learns his name is Glitch. He has a huge zipper down the middle of his head because Azkadellia removed half of his brain because of something he used to know.
Longcoats attack the village and the two use that time to escape. On their way to find the "old road" they come across a family being attacked by Longcoats. D.G. jumps in to help after they hit the little boy in the family, but the scene vanishes. Glitch explains that it was a scene played out in a loop by a machine that he thinks he invented, but he can't remember. They then discover a man in a tin suit. D.G. unlocks it and lets him out. He's the man that was in the hologram scene. He was forced to be in the tin suit for years and watch his family being tortured over and over again. His name is Wyatt Cain. He thanks the two for saving him, but doesn't want them traveling with him because they will slow him down. He's out for revenge for his family being killed.
D.G. gets mad and says they'll find their own way then. But Cain realises the way to the old road is through a dangerous place called the field of the pompae. The pompae are creatures that attack and kill others for food. During their trip through the field, they discover someone trapped in a cucoon like sack. D.G. insists on saving him, even though Cain advises against it. They save the man named Raw and the pompae chase they down because they stole thier dinner. Later, the find out Raw is Viewer who can see the future just like Lylo. They all decide to stay together and move on to travel the old road to Central City. Along the way, D.G. sees a sign that she remembers drawing back home, she also remembers something her father told her. She recognises where they are and she runs through the trees and arrive in Milltown.
D.G. is shocked that it's the place her father always talked about and realizes her parents are really from the O.Z. As they enter the town, they are surrounded by a group of robots and cyborgs. But D.G.'s parents come running out to stop them and D.G. is excited to see them, happy they haven't been killed and aren't hurt. But her happiness turns into confusion as her parents finally get a chance to explain to her what they couldn't before; They aren't her real parents and are robots who were put in charge of taking care of D.G. when her real mother sent her to the Other Side to be safe. They were also in charge of telling her about the O.Z. so she would be prepared when it was time for her to return. She learns that she must go to Central City to meet the Mystic Man. The Mystic Man has a message for her from her real mother.
Longcoats attack Milltown too, and the group has to quickly leave. They sneak into Central City (which is guarded by Longcoats) and go to meet the Mystic Man. But they find he's addicted to vapors, which is a euphoric drug created by Azkadellia. They try to talk to him backstage from his show and try to get information from him. It takes a while, but they learn that D.G. must go to the Northern Island. There, they find a castle frozen in the ice thanks to another story D.G.'s robot father told her while growing up. When the four enter the castle, she learn that D.G.'s real mother was the Queen of the O.Z. so that makes D.G. a princess. They also find out that Glitch was telling the truth when he said he was a former advisor to the Queen. Raw uses his power to look into D.G.'s past.
They find out that D.G. and Azkadellia are sisters. And when they were kids, Azkadellia kills D.G. and the Queen sends all of her powers into D.G. to bring her back to life. She also tells D.G. where to find the Emerald so she can stop Azkadellia from taking over. Right after the vision, Azkadellia shows up and demands to know what their mother told D.G. and D.G. tells her she can't remember. She also finds out that their mother is still alive and Azkadellia is keeping her imprisoned somewhere. The four friends create a distraction and try to escape. But Azkadellia sends her winged creatures, called Mobats, to attack them. She kidnaps D.G. and Raw and Glitch is knocked unconscious. Cain battles Zero, the longcoat that killed his family, but Zero cheats and has backup help him. He shoots Cain and he falls out of the castle window and into the frozen lake.

No Job, Crappy Holiday
I'm looking for a job. I have been looking for some time now, but with no luck. Every place I apply to doesn't have opening in the time slots I need (after school hours) or aren't hiring yet. I drop off my applications and it seems just pointless. The holidays are coming and I have nothing to buy anyone in my family any presents. In the past, I borrowed money for gifts from my mom and payed her back by doing extra stuff around the house. I'd rather earn my own money and be able to buy using my own funds.
I have no idea where to turn to next. The only place I could guarantee getting a job is at Walmart, but I'm not willing to risk my life trying to get across the boulevard to get there everyday! I'll keep trying, but so far it's been a waste of time. Gifts from me are going to suck again this year unless I find something quick.

Everybody Hate Chris
This week Chris gets a surprise as another black kid enrolls in his school. Finally, he's not the only black kid and he's excited about it. Greg isn't though because he thinks Chris will start hanging out with the new kid and forget about him because they have more in common. Chris tells him not to worry about that, but Greg is skeptical.
Meanwhile, Chris' parents get extra money back on their tax refund. Rochelle is exited and, after she pays some bills and gets a cereal variety pack for the kids, she buys a brand new couch. Julius isn't that exited though and is afraid the IRS will find out they made a mistake and want the money back plus more. He harasses a tax agent and finds out that the IRS "Probably. Maybe. Hopefully" won't realise the mistake.
Back at school, Chris gets to know the new kid, Albert and they start hanging out. And, just like Greg predicted, Chris starts spending more time with Albert than with him. Greg finds out that Albert is nice to Chris but is mean to all the other kids. He tries to warn Chris, but he thinks Greg is just jealous. But then Chris finds out Albert really does pick on other kids at random and he joins in, taking the opportunity to pick on Caruso who isn't brave enough to pick on two black kids.
Greg sees Chris pick on a kid and asks him why he did it. Chris says he's just having fun and Greg decides not to hang out with Chris anymore. Things go well for Chris until their teacher, Ms. Morello, says something unintentionally racist to Albert. Chris usually just ignores her since she doesn't mean to be racist, but Albert gets angry and decides to have payback. Chris says he doesn't want to be part of it. Albert spray paints "Morello is a b****" on the side of the school and everyone thinks that Chris did it.
Chris tells Albert to turn himself in or else he would turn him in. Albert says he will, but instead points a finger at Chris who gets detention for the deed and also has to scrub the graffiti off the school wall. Greg finds out that Chris got in trouble and tells the teacher that Albert was really the culprit. Albert gets expelled from school and is angry at Chris and Greg.
Chris realises that he should stick by his best friend who's always looking out for him and not have ditched him for the new kid.

House

Okay, so the remaining candidates are Kutner, Amber, Taub, Cole and Thirteen. House gives them all a task; whoever can get Dr. Cuddy's underwear will be exempt from being fired and has to put 2 others up on the block to be fired.
Meanwhile, they are supposed to be treating a magician named Finn that got sick during a magic show that Kutner and Cole were attending. House doesn't believe the magician is actually sick and think what happened was the guy messed up on his trick (to escape from a tank of water while handcuffed and hanging upside down) and accidentally drowned himself. But Kutner truly believes the guy is really sick.
While being examined by Thirteen and Kutner, Finn awes them with a magic trick. Amber and Taub conspire to work together to get Cuddy's underwear and make a deal to spare each other from getting fired. They try to spill coffee on her so she would have to change her clothes. Then Amber tries to get her wet by making the sprinklers come on using a lit cigarette, but Cuddy doesn't enter the area where the sprinklers are spraying.
Kutner tells Foreman that the tests show there was reason for Finn's heart failure and Foreman tell him to MRI the guy's lungs. But as they start the test, Finn complains of pain and they discover he has internal bleeding.
Taub tries to full House by bringing him some black panties and says they are Cuddy's. But House says that he noticed Cuddy was wearing a red bra, so her underwear would match it. Foreman looks at him strangely to which House retorts "Like you haven't noticed."
To cut to the chase and not make a super long entry again like last time...
They discover that the bleeding in Finn was caused when the MRI magnets ripped a key through his gut. They key he had accidentally swallowed during the magic show. But Finn starts bleeding out of his nose so they try to figure out what else is wrong with him.
They think it's an infection from tainted blood that Finn got during a transfusing during his surgery, but it turns out it they gave the magician the wrong blood type. Finn tells House he is type-A blood. He is not AB, but his body is making an extra antibody of type B. House says all the other symptoms point to Lupus.
Cole ends up being the one to get Cuddy's underwear, but House finds out he made a deal with Cuddy for them. He would let Cuddy decide who were the ones to be nominated to be fired in exchange for the underwear. House is mad about this because he doesn't want Cuddy having more power over him, so he fires Cole instead of the nominated two.
I guess this post still came out kinda long. I can't help it. House is a complex show :)

Rainy, Cold Day

Today is was raining so hard and the rain seemed to come from no where. It wasn't raining while I was walking to the bus stop, then it started to rain a little as I crossed the street, then I had to open my umbrella as I stood at the bus stop. A few minutes later the rain just poured and poured and the high winds made sure that me, and everyone else standing there, got extra wet all over. Some kids at the stop decided they couldn't take it anymore and headed back home. Just when I thought the same, the bus showed up so I just got on. I was soaked and cold as I took a seat, and everyone else on the bus was too.
The subway stairs were full of big puddles so I walked extra carefully down them. Rain water streamed from bottom stairs, under the gates and onto the tracks. The first train came quickly, then as I waited for the express, it came quickly too that was a plus. But I was cold and wet and tired and wasn't feeling very happy at all. I knew I would have to sit through class wet. I was freezing and uncomfortable all day.
Sleepiness caught up with me during math and I dozed off a few times. I don't really understand the new math we're working on but, hopefully, my brain will catch up like it always does. As I'm typing this, my jeans are basically dry now but my shoes are still wet and my feet are very uncomfortable. I can't wait to get home, change my clothes, and sleep until Tuesday.

Everybody Hate Chris
Chris' best friend, Greg, needs a place to stay while his dad is out of town. He doesn't want to stay with his aunt because she, apparently, dresses in lederhosen with her friends and throws parties. Chris tells Greg that he can stay at his house instead. He asks his mom and, though she didn't really want to since she didn't have time to prepare, she agrees to let Greg stay. She tells Chris to tell Greg not to expect anything special, yet when they get home she serves Greg special food.
Greg is excited to be in a different environment than he's used to. Chris' siblings are disappointed because they have to eat vegetables and tofu because Greg can't really have meat. At the dinner table, Greg discovers that Chris' dad, Julius, has 2 jobs and is even trying out a 3rd job driving a cab on the side. "Wow. When do you sleep?' Greg asks and everyone in the family laughs. Greg is a little confused about what's so funny.
That night, Chris discovers that Greg sleeps in super hero costumes at night, snores, dances, and sings in his sleep. Chris tries his best to put up with the noise through the night. He wakes Greg up at 5am in the morning, explaining how it takes a long time to get to school from his house. But once Greg is up, he hogs the bathroom then gets another specially cooked meal for breakfast while the rest of the kids eat cereal.
Greg falls asleep in class and Chris explains that Greg is staying at his house. Their racist teacher is alarmed and asks if they gave Greg a 40 for breakfast. Greg tells her no and that's he's just not used to getting up so early. The teacher says it's okay and she understands because Chris' "people" have a history of getting up at the crack of dawn to work in the fields and Greg's don't. Chris is annoyed but doesn't say anything.
Meanwhile, Julius is working his new cabbie job. He picks up a fare that asks him to take him to Vegas. Julius refuses, but the guys offers to pay him $1,000 and, after calling Rochelle and getting approval, he agrees to drive the guy. The guy turns out to be a crook and robs several places on his was to Vegas. Julius doesn't notice though and just thinks the guy is making stops for food and other stuff.
At home, Chris takes Greg around the neighborhood. Greg gets robbed by Jerome who gives him the nickname "Little white dude from across the street" and takes a dollar from him. Greg thinks it's cool he just got robbed. He then gets suckered by Risky into buying a shirt someone got shot in for $5. When they get home, Chris is tired since he was also working at his job after school. The kids want to watch another tv show, but since Greg wants to watch NOVA, Rochelle makes them all watch it.
At bed time Chris is tired and Rochelle doesn't notice. She notices Greg is tired and asks him what's wrong and also asks Chris to go draw him a bath. Chris refused and Greg says it's okay because he's going to sleep anyway. Chris is fed up. He tells Greg that he has it good at his house because he doesn't have to get up early and take 2 buses to school and work after school too. He says he's tired of doing things for Greg and everyone treating him better and Greg says fine "Don't do anything else for me!" they go to sleep angry at each other. The next morning, Chris doesn't wake Greg up for school and when Greg gets to school late he's mad at Chris. "You told me not to do anything for you anymore." Chris retorts.
The boys eventually reconcile when Rochelle explains that she's only been being nice to Greg for 3 days while she's been taking care of Chris for 15 years. It's not that she's treating Greg better than him, just being nice because he's Chris' friend. The boys apologize to each other and Greg explains how he thinks Chris' life is so great because Chris is not alone while he has to do everything on his own since his dad is rarely around.
Then, Julius finally gets to Vegas with the bank robber and the police catch them. The guy tries to hold Julius as a hostage and says he'll use him as a human shield. It's only then Julius finds out who the guy really is. The robber's girlfriend (the reason why the robber was stealing all the money so he could get back with her) convinces him to give up and let Julius go. The police arrest Julius as a suspect though. He gets out of jail and returns home to his family who are excited to see him.
Chris learns that even though Greg has fancy toys and games and things, it's nothing compared to the family he has.

Everybody Hate Chris
Chris is writing a story for his school news paper. However, the story he writes no one likes, not even his best friend or his teacher. He was told to write something real, but everyone considers it boring. Greg gives Chris the advice to make up a story and "give the people what they want". Chris then makes up a story about a serial killer call the Scissor Killer and writes an interview with the killer. Everyone loves this story.
Chris keeps his mouth shut and accepts the praise for his story, even though he knows it's made up. Before Chris knows it, even the real newspaper printed the article and the police are searching Bed-Sty for the killer. Chris doesn't know what to do, so he continues to keep quiet.
But, then the police shows up at his house to get a discription of the Scissor Killer so they can search for him. Chris lies and makes up a discription. But the cop doesn't really listening to any detail besides that the man is black and tall, and he tries to arrest Chris' father when he comes in from work. Chris has no choice but to tell the police. He says he's sorry and it's enough for the cop, but his parents are angry and punish him with a beating.
Back at school, everyone is made at him for lieing and under his name in the school year book he's listed as "LIAR!!!"

House
This blog is now also going to be used to write my Basic Comp. journal entries. So, my TV show pick to write about for this week is House.
*****
House is still interviewing candidates to take place of Foreman, Cameron, and Chase. The candidates that are left are Thirteen, Kutner, Taub, Brennan, Amber, and Cole. Also back on the scene is Foreman who accepted the job to work back at the hospital because no other hospital would hire him because he became too much like House; something he quit to avoid becomming in the first place. But this time, Foreman is in charge of keeping House in place and making sure he doesn't go too far.
Dr. Cuddy introduces Dr. Foreman to the candidates and describes his new job. She makes sure to tell them that everything they do has to be signed off by Foreman first, even if House says it's okay. House points out how much he doesn't want to work with Foreman but Cuddy doesn't care.
The case they are working on evolves a man who had gotten mugged by two teens who stole his wallet before getting sick, and has memory loss so no one knows what his name is. They nickname him Mr. X and try to find out what's wrong with him. Amber and Brennan do a stress test on him which causes his limbs to tingle and his stomach to hurt, which shouldn't happen during a stress test.
House tells Foreman that if he doesn't leave, he'll make him miserable. Foreman tells house that he's already miserable and walks away. House decides to make Cuddy miserable until she fires Foreman.
While the team tries to figure out what's wrong with him, they get a call that Mr. X has crashed. They find him laying on the floor unconcious and as they try to help him, Foreman tells House that he thinks the guy is faking and has Munchausen's syndrome. House doesn't agree, so Foreman points out the board with all the patients and their conditions written on it and says that Mr. X is imitating all his neighbors illnesses.
House thinks on it for a moment then realizes that Mr. X is wearing a doctor's coat. He notes that people with Munchausen's immitate patients, not doctors. He tells Foreman that Mr. X really has Giovannini Mirror Syndrome which makes him unknowining copy the personalities and pick up on the inner thoughts of those he comes in contact with. Foreman still thinks he's faking.
To prove Foreman wrong, house dresses Mr. X in scrubs and takes him into a surgery that Dr. Wilson is performing. After Wilson talks to house about him and Foreman's situation of not getting along, Mr. X copies Wilson's personality and tells House that he's "Deflecting." among other things. Wilson says he likes the guy. Mr. X then, after watching Wilson doing the surgery for a few minutes, picks up a scalpal and tries to cut the patient. House quickly grabs his hand and stops him. He pulls off Mr. X's glove and cuts him with the scalpal. He turns to Foreman who's watching from the booth and tell him that his blood is frozen and there's no way he's faking that.
Later, House, Foreman and the candidates walk to the cafeteria dicussing what to do for Mr. X. House says it's an infection and orders tests to find out what kind. As they walk into the cafeteria, House shouts to everyone that they just dicovered the mayonnaise is tainted and that everyone needs to go see Dr. Cuddy to complain. As the mob of people rush out, Foreman tries to tell everyone that he's a doctor and there's nothing wrong with the mayo. House lies and says Foreman has a mail order degree and everyone continues to leave.
House points out the fact that Mr. X had car keys in his pocket and sends Thirteen and Cole to go find the man's car so they can have some clues as to who he is. Meanwhile, the rest of the doctors perform the different tests on Mr. X who mimics them and they get unwanted insight about themselves that they never knew.
.... There's a lot more to this episode, but I think this entry is getting a little long, so I'll cut to the end. They eventually find out that Mr. X is a farm equipment salesman from Ohio and got a disease from "pig poo", as House puts it, called eperythrozoon. They treat him for it. House doesn't fire anyone this time, even though everyone made a ton of mistakes. But Foreman realizes that he didn't fire anyone because the whole hospital was having a bet on who got fired or not and Chase bet that no one would. House has a agreement to split the winning with Chase. Foreman says he won't tell, and also he won't quit. He's staying because he likes it there.

I HATE Math Tests
I studied. I learned. I got everything down and figured out my methods. But what got me in the end? Time. I can't do math problems but so fast without messing up. If I go too fast, I lose my places, carried numbers, or decimals. So I go as fast as I can without screwing myself over and when I do that, I run out of time.
I thought I was soooo ready for today's math mid-term, but I ran out of time before I could finish all of the problems! I tried to rush, but that didn't help much. If I fail, it's because of all the lost points from the missed problems. I hate tests.. math tests especially. I need more time! :(

Blargh!

Tired again today. I didn't get much sleep last night because two of my cats decided they wanted to scream loudly to get in and out of my room all night, so I was in and out of bed playing door man for them. Then, when I finally did get to doze off fully, one cat decided to run around the house with a dead bird. Heaven knows where she got a dead bird from at 3AM in the morning, but I was the one who had to chase her around and get it away. After she ran into the basement, I decided "the hell with it" and just went back to sleep.
So, today I am tired and kinda irritated and cranky. I also forgot my umbrella so I hope it doesn't rain too bad on my way home. Oh well, I'll get over it once I get home and get to play some "My Sims" on my DS. I haven't had much time all week to play any games so I like the weekends because I can get my gaming done. My sister bought me "My Sims" about a month ago and I still haven't completed it due to lack of time. This weekend won't be all laziness though, as I have to study for math mid-terms for Tuesday. Yay :/
I'm pretty sure I did crappy on my Personal Development mid term as I didn't have enough time to complete or even guess at all the answers. I think I left 2 blank. Basic Comp. I'm not too sure about. I think I did fine with Applications and I just now did my Intro. to Micro. exam and I feel like I did pretty well. I know for sure I got one answer wrong because my mind just completely spaced. I guessed at it, but I know it's wrong... URL does not stand for Universal Route Location. Blargh...

I think I did fine with Applications and I just now did my Intro. to Micro. exam and I feel like I did pretty well. I know for sure I got one answer wrong because my mind just completely spaced. I guessed at it, but I know it's wrong... URL does not stand for Universal Route Location. Blargh...

Again?

Here I go complaining about math again. At least today I was actually following most of the math. I think some of it is finally sinking in. But when most of the class started talking amongst themselves, loudly, and rudely, I got lost again. I couldn't concentrate on what Mr. Nong was saying and my head started hurting. For some reason, I have a hard time ignoring multiple conversations going on at one time and my brain starts to try to listen and process them all together. Of course I can't properly do that so everything starts sounding like a bunch of gibberish, my ears start hurting, then my head.
So, today was a near murder in math class, but I escaped without death just a few injuries. I'll take the weekend to study and try to figure the rest of this out on my own. Maybe I'll pull a miracle and get at least a B on my math mid-term.

Murder in Math Class

Mr. Nong is a nice guy, but I think he tried to kill us today. At least, I left math with a few deep wounds in my brain. I need to take my time when learning new math techniques. It's confusing at first, but after a while something just clicks and I understand what I'm doing and it no longer looks like alien gibberish.
But Mr. Nong teaching something new and also 2 or 3 different ways to do it. I never know which metheod to follow and nothing makes sense. Also, as soon as one things barely begins to make sense, we seem to move on very quickly to another form of math which leaves my head spinning and hurting.
It's fine for those students who get math and like math, but I feel left behind after a hit and run.

Study Break

I've been studying for mid-terms for the past 2 days. I don't deeply study to the point of hurting my brain or getting frustrated because then I tend to forget everything. I usually just read over notes and read certain pages in my books to better understand some things I didn't quite get. It's more of a review than actual study, but it works for me and keeps me focused.
The only thing I'm really stressing over is math. When I'm taking a math test, everything seems to get erased from my brain. I guess because math is something I really hate and certain math problems (like dividing fraction or geometry) I really, really hate and see no real reason why I need to know them. After Mr. Nong's math class I usually leave with a bad headache or the start of a migraine. I started bringing ibuprofen with me to school just for that.

And so it begins...

I can't say I really have much to say in a blog. I tried, months ago, to have one but after a few postings I found that I really wasn't using it anymore and really didn't care to. But, since I have to do this blog as a homework assignment, I'll try to at least put something in regularly. I can't promise it will be very interesting though.
So, this blog is for a homework assignment at MCC/CTI for my Intro. to Micro Computers class. I know what a weblog is, I've seen and read some before, and my last blog attempt was even done here at blogger.com. I'm not really sure why I have to do this blog, but I do like to complete my assignments even if I don't fully understand them because, usually, I gain some understanding as I go.
